My name is Svetlana Podkolzina and I have been in the translation industry since 2003. I am a native speaker of Russian and my translation and localisation business specialises in providing skilled and reliable Russian language services based upon both professional work experience gained as well as academic expertise developed through my MA in Linguistics and Translation.

It was at the age of 5 that I first started learning foreign languages and it’s been a life-long passion of mine to discover more about different cultures. I graduated from the Samara State University in Russia in 2003 with MA (Hons) in Germanic languages and literature (German and English) and began working on a large localization project in Moscow for one of the leading European ERP enterprises. This afforded me an invaluable insight into how translation affects the success of a business.

Between 2004 and 2010, I worked as in-house translator and project manager in Moscow and London, before moving to Portugal in 2011 when I started my own translation and localization business.
